Exterior House Painting in St. Petersburg & Tampa Bay
Florida is hard on exterior paint. UV fades color, humidity feeds mildew, afternoon storms push water into cracks, and near the water salt air speeds everything up. An exterior repaint lasts when the prep is done right. Custom Painting Pro paints homes across Pinellas and Hillsborough County, with most of the effort going into the work you don't see once the last coat is on.
What we paint

Stucco in Florida
Most homes we paint here are stucco. Stucco moves with heat and moisture, so hairline cracks are normal. We fill them before painting so they don't let water in or show through the new color. For homes with more cracking, we can quote an elastomeric coating, a thicker, flexible coating that bridges small cracks. We'll tell you plainly whether your house needs it.
Coastal homes
Waterfront homes on Tampa Bay and the Gulf see salt air and harder sun. We pay extra attention to cleaning, rust-prone fasteners and the trim that takes the most weather, and we schedule around wind and afternoon rain.
Exterior painting FAQ
How often should a Florida home be repainted?
It depends on sun exposure, the last paint job and how close you are to the water. We'll look at yours and tell you where it stands.
Can you paint during rainy season?
Yes. We plan work for dry windows, watch the forecast daily and won't coat a wet surface.
Do I need to be home?
No. We need access to water and electricity outside, and we'll keep you posted each day.
Will you help with HOA color approval?
Yes. We can work from your HOA's approved palette and provide product and color details for the application.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our work carries a one-year limited workmanship warranty. If paint peels, blisters or flakes because of how we applied it, we fix it at no cost. Moisture intrusion, stucco movement and substrate failure are excluded; the full terms are in your proposal.
