Interior Painting in St. Petersburg & Tampa
A good interior paint job comes down to prep, clean lines and a crew that respects your home. Custom Painting Pro paints single rooms, full interiors and move-in or move-out repaints across Pinellas and Hillsborough County. We protect floors and furniture, repair the surfaces first, and walk the finished rooms with you before we're done.
What we paint
- Walls and ceilings, including high ceilings and stairwells
- Baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings
- Interior doors and door frames
- Kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Accent walls and color changes, including dark-to-light.
Prep and repair before paint
Most interior problems show up because a surface wasn't ready. Before we paint, we handle the work that makes the finish look right:
Drywall repair
Patching holes, cracks, dings and nail pops, then sanding and priming the repairs so they don't flash through.
Wallpaper removal
Stripping paper and adhesive, repairing the wall underneath and priming before paint.
Caulking and filling
Gaps at trim, corners and casings, so lines read sharp and straight.
Stain-blocking primer
Over water stains, smoke, or a big color change.
Finishes that fit each room
We recommend a sheen for each space: flat or matte on most ceilings, eggshell or satin on walls that need to wipe clean, and semi-gloss on trim and doors. Kitchens and bathrooms get finishes made for moisture, which matters in Florida humidity. We use Sherwin-Williams products and can match any color you've chosen.

How long does it take to paint a house interior?
A single room usually takes a day or two. A full interior takes longer depending on size, ceiling height and repairs. Your estimate includes a schedule.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move and cover furniture as part of the job. We ask you to put away small valuables and wall decor.
Can you paint while we live in the house?
Yes. We work room by room so the rest of the house stays usable, and each room is ready to use again at the end of the day.
Do you help choose colors?
Yes. We can bring Sherwin-Williams samples and recommend sheens for each room.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our work carries a one-year limited workmanship warranty. If paint peels, blisters or flakes because of how we applied it, we fix it at no cost. Exclusions, such as moisture problems, substrate failure and damage by others, are listed in your proposal.
