Commercial Painting Without Shutting Down Your Business

For offices, retail stores, restaurants and fitness centers, closing for a paint job usually is not an option. The good news is that most commercial painting can be planned around your operations. Here is how.

Plan the phases

Large spaces are split into sections so only part of the building is affected at a time. Customer-facing areas can be scheduled for slow periods, with back-of-house and storage areas done during business hours.

Work around your hours

Early-morning, evening and weekend schedules are common for commercial work. We set the schedule with you before the job starts, so your staff and customers know what to expect.

Keep the space usable

  • Low-odor products for occupied spaces

  • Furniture, fixtures and equipment covered and protected

  • Clear walkways and signage around work areas

  • Work areas left clean and safe at the end of each shift

Exterior work

Storefronts and building exteriors can usually be painted while you stay open, with entrances kept accessible and work around doors scheduled during off hours.

Paperwork property managers need

Commercial clients and property managers usually need certificates of insurance, a written scope and a firm schedule. We provide all three.

We have painted offices, retail, restaurants, fitness centers and warehouses across Pinellas and Hillsborough, including large fitness club interiors. Learn more about our commercial painting and new construction painting work.
